Safe Places in 2012 - Where Will it Be Safe to Live If 2012 Doomsday Happens?

With the publish of the new movie the idea of a 2012 doomsday is becoming more & more legitimate in many peoples minds. Find out today what the safe places in 2012 will be and where you should be living in 2012 if authentically the predictions come true! First though lets look at where you don't want to be!

Avoiding the Apocalypse!

Nuclear Reactor

It's no surprise that when the idea of doomsday comes up the first thing most habitancy think about are where the safe places to hide will be. The unfortunate truth is that no one can say for sure, however there is some data nearby that gives us the best evaluation of where you will not want to be.

Usa/Canada: Unfortunately there is a great deal of conflicting data concerning this area of the world. Edgar Cayce did suggest Virginia as being a safe haven, however a great deal of data now suggests should a polar shift occur north America will come to be the new north pole! With even Florida sitting on the cusp of the new arctic circle. Not to mention the super-volcano sitting under Yellowstone which would likely go off and destroy a majority of the continent, and make the air un-breathable.

If this wasn't bad enough the whole of nuclear power plants that will like melt down will be remarkable and generate a total nuclear Armageddon! Again Usa & Canada have a great deal of these power plants and this again creates another intuit not to stick nearby here.

Europe: Even worse than Usa/Canada is the whole of nuclear power plants in Europe. Should catastrophic natural disasters occur this is in fact the worst place in the world to be!

Australia: Unfortunately the 2km high tidal waves will wipe out the majority of the habitancy (as the majority live on the covering of the continent). Inland is questionable at this point. In expanding to which it's believed that if a pole shift happens Australia will be the new south pole as well!

Safe Places:

It's believed that mountains will be the only safe places should 2012 doomsday occur. With all the possibilities it's impossible to say where for sure, but with the above 3 out it's believed that expansive areas of Africa, particularly nearby Morocco and the highlands of Ethiopia will have the best chances. Highlands would be safe if it were not for the nuclear fallout which would likely occur, the same goes for various other expansive regions of Europe. Mountains in China that are inland and far enough away from any nuclear reactors would also be great than most other places.

Civil War Food - What Union and Confederate Soldiers Ate

The contemporary U.S. Army has a wide array of food products ready to them in base camps and in the field. There are a large estimate of Mres (which are admittedly quite tasty) and other transported foods ready to them when on missions and when stationed in hostile terrain. And when posted at an established base camp, the food that is prepared is also quite good. A large part of this is of course the ready availability of large quantities of any sort of food incredible in today's contemporary environment. In fact, today's soldiers have the best food ever made ready to a fighting force.

But it wasn't all the time that way.

Nuclear Weapons

Take the Civil War. Civil War food kept the soldiers fed and not much else. Lets take a look at the diet that comprised the typical Civil War food ration. There were several issues that affected the food that was supplied to the Civil War soldiers. These comprise the club of the Commissary branch - which was tasked with the acquisition and distribution of food to the soldiers in the field, the season which determined if fresh food was ready or if it was preserved in some way and the capability of the food to stay good for long term storehouse and transportation.

Prior to the war, the attention of Commissaries was in the North so when the Civil War began, the North had a great advantage as they already had an existing Commissary branch that was already trained in how to obtain and transport food to soldiers in the field. Their job was to work with the troop numbers and schedules and keep a constant supply of foods going to each area where military were stationed so that the soldiers could keep on fighting without worrying about where their next meal would be coming from. It took the Confederacy several years to found a working Commissary so being a soldier of the South was more difficult. It required real dedication to be fighting when you didn't know where your next meal was coming from. Because of this lack of infrastructure, the South had to do a lot of foraging for food in the middle of battles until the supply lines were up and operational.

Civil War soldier food was typically very uncomplicated fare - often consisting of meat, coffee, sugar and hardtack - a type of dried biscuit. The meat was often salted or dried so it would last a bit longer and fruits and vegetables were rarities on the battlefield. Because the soldiers were often in the field, they needed to carry rations with them. They had a extra bag - called a haversack - which was made of canvas with an inner cloth bag that could be washed to get food debris cleaned out once in a while. But even with this design, the bags were often quite contaminated and foul smelling. Cleanliness was typically not high on the Civil War soldiers priority list.

Union soldiers and Confederate soldiers typically had a separate mix of rations. A Union soldier might have salt pork, fresh or salted beef, coffee, sugar, salt, vinegar, dried fruit and vegetables. And if it was in season, they might have fresh carrots, onions, turnips and potatoes. A Confederate soldier typically had bacon, corn meal, tea, sugar, molasses and the very occasional fresh vegetable.

The other difference in Civil War food in the middle of the Union and Confederate armies was the type of bread stock they had ready to them. Confederate soldiers had something called "Johnnie Cake" that they made in the field from cornmeal, milk and a few other ingredients. The Union soldiers had hardtack, also referred to as "tooth dullers" or "sheet iron crackers". Hardtack was man-made in large factories in the North and was a staple food for the Union soldiers. Hardtack got its name because it was often not used until months after it was made and during that time, it hardened rock solid which is how it got its nicknames.

As you can see, food has come a long way due to the coming of technologies that allow for better preservation of a wide variety of foods. Gone are the days of weevil infested hardtack. They have been supplanted with contemporary vacuum seal technologies that allow foods to stay fresh and tasty years after they have been packages. And since they say an army is run by its stomach, it is no surprise that the contemporary soldier is the best the world has ever seen.

Ostrov Damanskii (Damanskii Island) 1969 (fragments) - 1 Tube. Duration : 9.03 Mins.

Остров Даманский 1969 год документальный фильм rutube.ru rutube.ru The Sino-Soviet border conflict of 1969 en.wikipedia.org The Sino-Soviet border conflict of 1969 refers to a series of armed border clashes between the Soviet Union and People's Republic of China at the height of the Sino-Soviet split. The most serious of these border clashes occurred in March 1969 in the vicinity of Zhenbao Island on Ussuri River, also known as Damanskii Island (Остров Даманский) in Russian. On March 2, 1969, a group of Chinese troops ambushed Soviet border guards on Zhenbao Island. The Soviets suffered 31 dead and 14 wounded. They retaliated on March 15 by bombarding Chinese troop concentrations on the Chinese bank of the Ussuri and by storming Zhenbao Island. The Soviet forces claimed that the Chinese suffered 800 casualties while the Soviets only had 60 killed or wounded. The Chinese claim to have suffered only a few casualties, far less than Soviet losses. Further border clashes occurred in August 1969, this time along the western section of the Sino-Soviet border, in Xinjiang. The Chinese suffered more casualties. Heightened tensions raised the prospect of an outright war between China and the Soviet Union, a war in which nuclear weapons could be used. Hints to this effect were dropped by Moscow through various channels, though it has never been proven that the Soviet policy makers seriously contemplated a pre-emptive nuclear strike on China. As war fever gripped China, Moscow and ...

Russia to Aim Nuclear Weapons at NATO and USA in Response to Defensive Missile Shield Tube. Duration : 4.72 Mins.

Russia threatened on Wednesday to deploy missiles to target the US missile shield in Europe if Washington fails to assuage Moscow's concerns about its plans, a harsh warning that reflected deep cracks in US-Russian ties despite President Barack Obama's efforts to "reset" relations with the Kremlin. President Dmitry Medvedev said he still hopes for a deal with the US on missile defense, but he strongly accused Washington and its NATO allies of ignoring Russia's worries. He said Russia will have to take military countermeasures if the US continues to build the shield without legal guarantees that it will not be aimed against Russia. tags: russian USSR soviet union ballistic missile defense NATO nuclear war moscow kremlin wwiii conflict georgia ukraine strikes world war iii 3 Dmitry Medvedev russia targeted

Twenty-Year History of Lattice-Enabled Nuclear Reactions (LENR) - Hiding in Plain Sight

Twenty-Year History of Lattice-Enabled Nuclear Reactions (LENR) - Hiding in Plain Sight Video Clips. Duration : 63.30 Mins.

At the University of Missouri, on May 29, 2009, scientists from the US Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) lectured on twenty years of verified research involving anomalous heat and mini-explosions on deuterated metals, reported by various governmental and international research laboratories. They conclude that these energetic observations are of nuclear origin and sow the seeds of a true green energy source. The Slides: bit.ly The lecture summary: Twenty-Year History of Lattice-Enabled Nuclear Reactions Using Pd/D Co-deposition FE Gordon, S. Szpak, PA Mosier-Boss, Melvin Miles, and LPG Forsley In the Pd/D co-deposition process, working and counter electrodes are immersed in a solution of palladium chloride and lithium chloride in deuterated water. Palladium is then electrochemically reduced onto the surface of the working electrode in the presence of evolving deuterium gas. Electrodes prepared by Pd/D co-deposition exhibit highly expanded surfaces consisting of small spherical nodules. Because of this high surface area and electroplating in the presence of deuterium gas, the incubation time to achieve high D/Pd loadings necessary to initiate LENR is orders of magnitude less than required for bulk electrodes. Using a Dewar-type electrochemical cell/calorimeter, it was shown that the rates of excess enthalpy generation using electrodes prepared by the Pd/D co-deposition technique were higher than that obtained when Pd bulk electrodes were used.1 ...

The Atomic Cafe

The Atomic Cafe Tube. Duration : 85.55 Mins.

One of the defining documentaries of the 20th century, THE ATOMIC CAFE (1982) offers a darkly humorous glimpse into mid-century America, an era rife with paranoia, anxiety, and misapprehension. Whimsical and yet razor-sharp, this timeless classic illuminates the often comic paradoxes of life in the "Atomic Age," while also exhibiting a genuine nostalgia for an earlier and more innocent nation. Narrated through an astonishing array of vintage clips and music--from military training films to campy advertisements, presidential speeches to pop songs--the film revolves around the threat--and thrill--of the newly minted atomic bomb. Taking aim at the propaganda and false optimism of the 1950s, the film's satire shines most vividly in the clever image splicing, such as footage of a decimated Hiroshima alongside cheerful suburban "duck-and-cover" routines. More than anything else, THE ATOMIC CAFE shows how nuclear warfare infiltrated the living rooms of America, changing the nation from the inside out. Immensely entertaining and devilishly witty, THE ATOMIC CAFE serves up a revealing slice of American history: the legendary decade when we learned to live in a nuclear world.

Adding Windmill Power To Your Home

By adding a wind turbine to your home, you are providing an alternate source of energy. Creating electricity using windmill powerwindmill power system. For example, some places restrict the height of any buildings in residential areas. There might be prohibitions on some types of structures in safe bet zoned areas.

Approach buying a vertical turbine law like you would in buying a car or a boat. Look over literature from more than the first business you find. Find out how long the warranty lasts on the windmill you intend to purchase. Understand the basics of a small wind system, and even take a look at combining the alternate power with energy, and its effects. Or if it is going to be the original source of your home, fancy the power wattage compared to the power consumption you plan on using.

Nuclear Power

Some states offer tax credits or rebates to home owners with household wind turbines, which offsets the facility or purchase price of the machine. A buyer can check with the local utility company, the utility commission, or a local power office to find out about these incentives. Or if they are ready at your location.

Companies are more than happy to help you purchase a household wind turbine law specifically designed to meet your needs.

Whether or not to add a windmill to your home is a decision only you can make. However, when weighing the advantages and disadvantages, you might find that these lists aren't the same length. It's an speculation that helps the economy and you might not have as much out of pocket cash going to your nearest utility company.

Fukushima immune? China bets on 'safer nuclear fuel'

Fukushima immune? China bets on 'safer nuclear fuel' Video Clips. Duration : 2.67 Mins.

With the global spotlight firmly back on the safety of nuclear power following Japan's tsunami and the problems at the Fukushima Daiichi plant, China is looking at spearheading efforts to make the industry safer. The Chinese are investing millions in research into reactors powered by the element Thorium -- a metal, proponents say, as common as lead, and one which, despite some concerns, would lead to power plants with fewer safety issues as well as other benefits. "Thorium-based reactors certainly have advantages," says Wang Kan, leader of the Tsinghua University Thorium Research Team. "The energy release from Thorium is greater than from Uranium, the by-products from using Thorium are less toxic than from Uranium, and it's much harder to make weapons from those by-products." The public outcry following the problems at the Fukushima plant led to Beijing putting a freeze on approvals of new nuclear power stations, and safety checks at all 25 which are currently under construction. Israel: Barajamos todas las opciones si Irán no detiene su programa nuclear Video Clips. Duration : 2.98 Mins.

GET OUT OF TOKYO: Foreign Office tells all Britons to leave toxic radiation zone as Japanese 'lose control' of stricken reactor *17000 British nationals could be evacuated as last ditch efforts are made to stop nuclear catastrophe *Rich scramble to book private jets out the country as fleeing passengers pack Tokyo airport *French say Japanese have 'visibly lost essential control' as they urge their citizens to get out Plans are being drawn up to evacuate every British national in Japan amid mounting fears of a nuclear catastrophe. Thousands of Britons were last night warned to leave Tokyo and all other areas under threat of radiation poisoning. The advice -- echoed by other countries around the world -- followed a meeting of the Cabinet's emergency Cobra committee to discuss the meltdown-threatened Fukushima nuclear plant. It heightened suspicions that the crisis at the plant -- already ranked the second-worst nuclear disaster after Chernobyl -- is worse than the Japanese authorities have publicly let on. Yesterday 'last-ditch' efforts were continuing at Fukushima to prevent a catastrophe. Last night an official at Japan's Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency said that radiation levels at the plant had fallen steadily over the past 12 hours. However, ministers were due to hold further talks last night on whether an immediate evacuation from Japan should be considered. About 17000 British nationals are thought to be in the country, mostly in Tokyo. Last night's Foreign ...

The Dark Side - science of mind of the Insane

Abstract:

In new years science of mind has tried to uplift the human spirit with lots of popular science of mind terms such as, "Positive Psychology" or the numerous books released to tell the masses how to behave to lead a fulfilled flourishing life from talking about parachutes, ten steps to something, the mired of "how to" titles and much more. Most are nothing but misguided pop psych or a fad of the moment. Can life be as easy as reading the right book and following some basic concepts and all things is going to be Ok for you and me? This paper is different, we shall study the "Dark" side of the human mind - that part that sees disengagement, destruction, vile acts as part of the everyday human psyche that emerges in us all from time to time - that part that finds excitement, glee and pleasure in the dysfunctional part of our existence. How can society reconcile with its dark side? I use the word insane to refer to those in society who oppose the social norm.

Nuclear Weapons

Introduction:

First let's study how we can recognize the "Dark Side" of psychological belief and behaviour. We need a measure, to know, what is normal and what is considered abnormal behaviour. Our first measure is social norms; this means in any society of what is considered normal everyday behaviour given a set of circumstances that confront our perception. For example in Western culture to charge another someone violently is considered a criminal act and one that is repulsive to a peaceful society. Any way we condone violence when the someone is given societal permissions such as a soldier in the act of war, a policeman in the act of apprehension of a dangerous criminal, a citizen defending his family from a serious threat from another person. These double standards can be misinterpreted in many ways. The soldier who commits war crimes such as genocide, the policeman who uses violence to intimidate a study while interviewing them or the citizen who violates another persons rights in order to added their own position in some way.

The second measure is a moral one? How do we as a society conclude what is right and wrong, who has the power to conclude these rights, do laws effect moral conviction or do they become safety of the weak against the strong or the rich against the poor? Most societies agree that killing another human being is against a moral code - it is simply wrong to kill and should be punished by an act of equal severity, by the society that supports the moral legal stance imposed on the masses by its law-makers. To most societies this has been a religious code of guide such as the 10 commandments of the Christian faith and other such codes from Buddhism to the Muslim Koran. Faith in divine bonus and punishment are reflected in the legal language and laws seen as the bedrock of any civilized nation of people. Having appropriate these rules why then do citizen effortlessly deviate from these morals, laws and religious guidelines that allow us all to live in a peaceful society governed by agreed principals of behaviours that protect the personel from danger, hurt and abuse?

The third area of behaviour is that not set down in law or religious concepts but those everyday sets of behaviour the English would refer to as, "manners" or being "polite". The guide or way of acting that conforms to behaviour appropriate as that of a excellent member of a society who knows how to guide themselves in the business of others to a set of standards that are seen as the mark of an advanced civilization. These can sometimes be seen in the etiquette of table manners or a man opportunity a door for a woman and allowing her to pass first, the recognition of man's duty to protect and defend women. Today in some cultures women's rights have cast doubt of manners towards woman as sexist and therefore demeaning to a woman's independence. Never-the-less manners are seen as the mark of being well-bread and in the upper echelons of a society whether they are traditional Englishness or a Japanese tea ceremony.

Having set out societies differing ways of measuring behaviour whether through, law, morals or social appropriate norms humans still conduct a wide range of dysfunctional behaviour that often impacts on and influences others to the point where the perpetrators of this behaviour see themselves surface the law, moral codes and etiquette of the rest of society. Sometimes straight through the feeling of guilt we all recognise when we have transgressed those rules that we see as necessary to a well ordered civilization. Any way there are those other citizen who feel nothing when faced with dealing out violence, destruction and death against others as merely their right to live without those rules and the free time to live a life that is considered by nothing more than what they wish to own, possess or destroy.

The Dark-Side:

What posses the man who kicks the dog, when he is frustrated by society that pens his existence. What feelings does he issue at that occasion when the dog screeches and howls in pain and fright? Why does he smile and wish added harm to the dog and enjoy the sight of an animal in pain? On-lookers feel outraged by his behaviour and condolement for the defenceless dog for which this man has sought to treat cruelly and without remorse. Who is this man? Why he is all of us from time to time. We all lose our sense of psychological calm and rational thoughts as we grapple with life's unfairness or lack of opportunity. On the other hand - wait - for this man is wealthy, has all his needs terminated yet still feels great pleasure in kicking and watching the dog suffer at his hands. A sense of power at his capability to inflict pain and the pleasure at feeling excellent to other lesser humans whom he sees as incapable of taking what they want and so end up his employees and servants. This excellent positional thinking leads to a lack of condolement or empathy for others as only fools who accept the dominance of his kind as leaders and law-makers.

The above example is too give an understanding into a behaviour that breaks our three measures of social norms, law (hurting a defenceless animal) moral (the taboo on senseless behaviour seen as wrong doing) socially appropriate behaviour, (while everyone might lose their temper and kick their dog, most will feel pangs of guilt and remorse). Here Any way we meet citizen who feel no guilt, no remorse and see themselves as exempt from laws they do not agree with. In England fox-hunting was a cruel sport mostly carried out by intelligent, professional, wealthy men and women? Yet these same citizen claimed a right to hunt and destroy a defenceless animal for nothing more than a good time as looking their hounds rip apart and devour a fox. Even though the majority of English citizen voted on numerous occasions to ban this sport it took any years of campaigning to get this put into law. Now fox-hunting is an illegal activity Any way these same citizen continue to flout the law and hunt under local by-laws that have yet to catch up with national lawmaking. These citizen know what they are doing is illegal, immoral and against social norms as defined by majority opinion. Yet they claim they are excellent parts of society and therefore above the day to day moral concerns of the lowly masses. The surprising thing is in England these citizen are members of parliament, police, judges and others who operate aspects of society in England such as estate owners (land given often by Royal consent in the past by robbing the rightful land of the poor). In others words the very citizen who should set an example to society are the same ones flaunting the law and socially appropriate behaviour.

In another example we have to look at the criminal. Criminals are often seen as the rejects of society as they have come from flawed backgrounds, disadvantaged families and poor parental upbringing. Yet in society the largest harm done to the social is often from corporate crime such as pension fund embezzlement, stocks and shares insider trading and theft of assets and wealth by Ceo's and government officials. This so-called white-collar crime is often undetected and the hardest to bring to justice. everyday criminals are more optic to the social as their crimes cause localised distress and make the media cry for police activity and civil authority action. Therefore most laws are about optic crime that is easy to understand and comprehend. Punishment of optic crime is also right transmit and dealt with everyday in our courts and media. How do we distinguish in the middle of the two types of criminal - the so-called victimless crime of white collar criminals who see no direct victim or the murderer who during an armed robbery kills and maims those who oppose his will to steal what he wants from society and the distress they leave behind?

So what does science of mind have to say about the deviants who do not see their actions as a problem to themselves and feel others who do not take operate of their lives as weak and therefore deserve to be victims of those who are smarter, stronger or more powerful? The media often cries about the passive masses that accept the status quo and in the same paper would condemn the local someone who took the law into their own hands maybe to avenge some wrong-doing against them or their families? The first area that science of mind expounds the reasons behind this dark behaviour of others is "developmental" that upbringing is at the route of this behaviour, that the dog kicker was not loved or cared for in the correct manner. That during their formative years they were subject to cruelty, sexual abuse or lack of social education. That the same transgressors were victims of bullying at school and therefore need to act-out their own frustration on those in society that are weaker than themselves. The request we have to pose here is why some victims, in fact most, go onto being law-abiding citizens and it is only the few that turn into the monsters who kill and maim for reasons of developmental mistakes? At this point many scientists like to point to a genetic factor in behaviour. This old chestnut has been nearby for some time now. There is evidence amongst violent criminals that they often possess an extra Y chromosome (men) that gives them a high number of testosterone important to violent outbursts towards frustrating situations in which they use terror and fear as the key to getting what they need. Any way as a division of violent criminals this is statistically slight even though in the normal prison citizen this may be higher. All genetic explore so far has lead to investment about genetic factors but with no firm evidence to back up the claims. The most often sited evidence is that from twin studies where twins separated at birth have high incidences of similar behaviour and outcomes. Again as a division of twins born and studied this evidence is weak for genetic determinism and high for developmental environments being similar and twins experiencing environments that are so accord that it is more likely to be a surprise if they did turn out differently from each other. So if we remove developmental outcomes, genetic predispositions then what makes some citizen flaunt socially appropriate behaviour and some who comply to all things society demands of them? This then is the propositional position that makes science of mind hard to always see as a distinct view or a deterministic way of the world and that in fact maybe it is in fact that normal behaviour amongst humans is to be cruel, deceitful, violent and tendency towards criminal behaviour under a collection of circumstances. Those morals are a luxury of a placed society where everyone is equal both economically and in caste or class.

The science of mind of the Survivalist:

There are those particularly in the Usa that see the end of society as a real possibility whether they advocate nuclear annihilation (today more likely bio-warfare) or the breakdown of capitalism important to social chaos and civil strife. These citizen are often referred to as survivalists. They store weapons against the uncontrollable hordes that would roam the country in the event of civil breakdown and food for the possibility of shortages caused by economic meltdown. (Looking at 2009 in the Usa many survivalists would argue they in fact have a good case). The survivalists believe the have a basic right to defend themselves and their families in the case of societal breakdown and lack of protective laws. On occasions these groups come into conflict with existing legal statutes that become enforced by federal authorities such as the Fbi. Therefore the survivalist's mentality is while on the one hand in conflict with society and in the other seen as a genuine attempt at controlling ones own fate against time to come disasters. After all insurance associates survive just on that facility alone - and ironically would be the first not to survive an economic breakdown of capitalism as seen by the failure of many banks in 2008/9 nearby the world. Today the most popular movies at the box office are disaster films, those where flood, sun-flares, bio-warfare, alien invasion and other catastrophes cause the social breakdown of society. The heroes of these movies are always the resourceful survivalists who straight through violence protect their kin from all-comers. Why do the social find these citizen as attractive, as hero's and yet the real survivalists are vilified as social enemies of the status-quo? Judging by the success of these movies lowly citizen recognise that the breakdown of society is something that may happen or is if fact inevitable. So they look to these movies as a type of hope for another time to come that may come about by the demise of their own everyday world.

Psychology as Evolution:

In human history all citizen started out as survivalists as hunter gatherers roaming the land looking for easy accessible animals for food and warmth. As time goes by we see these societies conclude into agro-cultural settlements that create rules, laws, leaders and a moral code. As they institute and grow these placed societies create art, music and religion to compensate for a slight existence within the constrictions of the very society they have formed. From these beginnings land and property become important. The rights of goods and chattels becomes necessary to growth. As time goes by these settlements become villages, towns and cities which ultimately form countries with boundaries. Survival becomes now the group and not the personel as was human's natural instincts from the beginning of time. Any way ultimately all these societies fade and crumble away. Some for unknown reasons such as the Mayan and other South American civilisations. Most fail as they grow into empires who dominate the weak with a version of their own laws and religions. Any way one thing history teaches us all is that societies do disappear for all sorts of reasons. (Greek, Roman, Egyptian in the aged world and British, French, German and Japanese empires in the modern world). All of these societies had one thing in base they did not envisage their own demise. In today's world a European and American could not dream the fall of the Eec or the Usa yet these new modern empires have their own Achilles heal, "Capitalism". Although Karl Marx saw the evils of capitalism and its eventual failure he could not have seen how it would grip the modern world to such a point that wars over oil and gas would dominate the 21st century. Marx Any way would probably laugh with glee at the failure in 2009 of the banking principles based on greed and debt nearby the first nations of the planet. Most of the failures can be contributed to mismanagement but in fact it was a loss of belief in the financial principles by lowly citizen that caused a rush on funds and inability to aid crippling debt straight through high interest rates and slight return on investments. When citizen panic they go into survival mode - they look after themselves first.

The Dark Side Conclusion:

At this junction it is time to end from these observations that social norms, laws and morals are honestly "not normal" for human beings and that society often military group behaviour based on what the fine want over the powerless. That in fact survivalist mentality is our norm and that what society tries to do in fact is operate the wild beast in every human by training them from an early age to obey the laws, rules and morals of the controlling group, usually the rich, who dominate our governments and institutions. Therefore should we condemn those that feel society is not gift them a fair deal - which in fact they should take what they need in order to survive an often hostile environment where privilege depends on your school, family or wealth? science of mind itself needs to come out of the closet and admit that normal human behaviour is to oppose rigid societies and rules? That in fact citizen resent society but because they are powerless against those who operate law-making and morality they feel distinct helplessness in trying to live amongst the sheep. Is it any wonder then occasionally a lone personel takes it into their own hands to turn society or their own environment in order to live a more free self-controlled existence away from the rigours of societies that as we have seen all ultimately breakdown and reinvent themselves as the new rich and fine take operate once again. In the last century we saw China go from a Empire ruled by depots to a military regime controlled by the rich and powerful, to transform itself into a communist stare of the 1950's where Marxism would conclude a fair life for all and ultimately to the China of today as a capitalist socialist state based on a ruling party that determines the lives of the powerless populace, that in fact fought for the rulers to lord over them much as the Emperor of old - nothing changed except the rich and powerful.. Will another revolution occur in China in the time to come - at the occasion it looks unlikely despite the unrest in many parts of China by minorities forced to comply with central rule. All empires cannot see their own demise! How will science of mind then deal with this request of human behaviour as a basic survivalist mechanism, that in fact humans are simply violent, cruel and dominating of others who are weaker than themselves? Psychiatry in thinking hospitals is often seen as the agents of social operate - if you do not agree with society and its rules then you must be insane - therefore you should be committed and controlled for the safety and benefit of all. science of mind on the other hand is seen as the liberating aspect of thinking health - where we help those out of synch with society of find their place and fit back into what is considered normal behaviour for that group. Where will the riposte be for those who rebel against the society they live in and want another way of existence with out the interference of the fine and the free time to live a life they choose as suiting themselves? Or do we wait - for the movies to come true - the disaster that awaits all humans and a return to a dog eat dog existence called survivalism - the real social norm!

End

End-note: I should as the author point out I am not advocating the American version of survivalists or any counter-revolutionaries in China or elsewhere nor do I condone actions against society that would lead to unhealthy outcomes. I do Any way recognise that societies turn and fall often by what we term terrorists when they oppose our way of life and free time fighters when they oppose a way of life that controls or restricts our personal freedoms. This as always is a philosophical request rather than a psychological one! I have not used the word evil in reference to human behaviour in this paper as the connotation infers a religious outlook which I honestly do not possess.

Uss Midway

Uss Midway is an aircraft carrier that served with the Us Navy. The ship was launched and laid down during World War Two, but was commissioned just after the war had ended.

During the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, Uss Midway was deployed at discrete times in the Caribbean, with the 6th fleet in the Mediterranean, and at the 7th fleet in the Far East. The most preponderant achievements during this period were launching of captured German V-2 rocket from her deck (1947), and participation in early operations in Vietnam, including her aircraft downing three MiGs.

Nuclear Weapons

Uss Midway was modernized at great charge in the late 1960s, and returned to service only in 1970. Uss Midway again participated in operations in Vietnam in the early 1970s. In 1973, she became part of the first forward-deployment of a faultless carrier task group to Japan. When South Vietname began to collapse in

1975, the ship returned to the area, and helped in the evacuation of Us personnel and Vietnamese during the fall of Saigon to the North Vietnamese.

The Uss Midway continued to serve during the late 1970s, and 1980s with deployments to the Pacific, (including participating in a 1976 forces demonstration to North Korea), and to the Arabian Sea and Persian Gulf during the Iranian Revolution.

In August 1990, Iraq invaded Kuwait. Uss Midway was deployed to the theater, and participating in the liberation of Kuwait the following year (Operation Desert Storm).

After a long and distinguished career, Uss Midway was decommissioned 1992. In January 2004, the ship was moored at Broadway Pier in San Diego, California, and in June of the same year she opened to the social as a museum.

What to Expect From Earth Pole Shift 2012?

The confident Earth Pole Shift 2012 - What to expect? Is this the end?

Scientist can only think the consequence of an earth pole shift as the last time this happened, Earth was still not inhabited by humans. An Earth Pole shift also called the 'geomagnetic reversal' is when the south and north magnetic poles have their positions reversed abruptly.

Nuclear Power

The pole shift theory is based on confident findings: the earth reverses its poles commonly at exact intervals of time. The last pole shift happened 780,000 years ago which only indicates that we are long overdue and this can happen anytime soon. This pole reversal is due to the sun's magnetic fields harmonic cycle. One may be able to think the exact time of pole shift based on the magnetic field or sunspot cycle theory. This is how antique civilizations, such as Maya and antique Egyptians made predictions regarding the end of the world.

Scientifically, it has long been proven that when a beam of lightning strikes a magnet, the poles in the magnet rapidly reverse. The same is true for the Earth which acts like a big magnet. The sun undergoes changes every 11,500 to 12,000 years which results in outbursts of huge amounts of energy causing the earth to shift poles. The supervene is nothing less than a major catastrophe.

The earth's magnetic field has a huge sway on all electronic equipment. A phenomenon like the Earth pole shift would put the whole world into chaos. This could sway ships and flights as they cannot navigate without Gps systems and Gps equipment will fail as they will not be able to get the right magnetic field. Satellites will be affected. Roughly all electronic equipment, such as televisions, mobile phones, internet will stop working. It is also suspected that this could cause nuclear bombs to explode on their own.

Besides electronic equipment, there could be thorough performance of volcano, heavy earthquakes nearby the globe, and tremendous continental plates movements disrupting and uprooting lives. This could supervene in the loss of millions and millions of lives and in the extreme destruction and desolation of life on Earth. So say the doomsayers and prophets of woe.

The pole shift may also have an impact on birds, animals and fishes and they will not be able to judge in which direction they must go and will get lost. This could mean the end of life as we know it, on our gorgeous planet. Most of the religions have foretold about the end of world in a similar way. The Mayan calendar also makes such predictions; agreeing to it, the end of the world will be nearby 2012 - to be more literal, 21st (although some sources say 23rd) December 2012. This calendar has never been proven to be inaccurate till now.

Life is set to transform into something spectacular and heavenly - so say the mystics and prophets of hope. For them, 2012 marks the starting of a new more confident period in human history. As we enter a zone of high energetic frequency, all life on earth and in effect this quadrant of our universe is believed to transform to a higher order. Inherent intuitive gifts, such as psychic abilities will come to be operative along with a renewed recognition that there is far more to Life than just the daily grind.

It is only with time that answers will be revealed that can help us understand the real think behind this mysterious Earth Pole Shift 2012 and what to expect of it.

a video clip of inside the exploded reactor. Thanks to hboy007 for his translation which reads as follows: inside the Sarcophagus the radiation levels are as high as 3400 Roentgen per hour [1 R = 2.58 * 10^-4 C/kg]. The working time of the engineers is determined by the radioactivity they are exposed to. When the dosimeter each of them carries starts to beep alarmingly, they need to leave the reactor immediately. Sergeij K. who recorded this footage usually stays a little longer. The white dots that can bee seen on the pictures that look like snow are also caused by the radiation which the digital cameras are quite prone to. The clock in this control room stopped at the exact time the incident took place: 1:23 am, april 26th, 1986 Despite the strongly limited time, work is done without hurry to avoid mistakes. The mounting teams know exactly where the other ones interrupted their repairing right there. Inside the exploded reactor block, additional staircases were installed to reach most of the locations but this isn't possible. Totally, only one third of the entire reactor block has been explored. The sectors have names and numbers which the workers shout out to one another. Every now and then men can be heard wading through water. Rain and melting water are the biggest enemy of the Sarcophagus. These caused gradual decay during the past 20 years. Sergeij likes to compare the inside of the Sarcophagus to a mine field. Each step can decide upon what radiation dose one is ...

vision India - 2025 (Expectations of an ordinary Person)

Introduction

The way one lyrist has written, "Hum logo ko samajh sako to samjho dilbar jaani; jitna bhi tum samjhoge utni hogi hayerani"...in a nut-shell we Indian's are most "unpredictable". When the expectations are low...we have performed no ifs ands or buts well and contrary to that when expectations were very high...most of the time we have failed to live up to those expectations.

Nuclear Power

As we are going to complete 58 yrs of independence on 15th August 2005, it is a pleasure to share with you the facts about India, vision India 2025 (From commonplace person's point of View), and India in 21st Century.

From Independence...till now

India was a British colony. It earned its independence from the British on 15th August 1947. Day before that Pakistan which was created as a ensue of partition of British India was established and flanked on two sides of India: West Pakistan which is called today Pakistan, and east Pakistan, now an independent state called Bangladesh. After its independence, the political leaders of India adopted the liberal democratic system for the country.

Since its independence, India has transformed a lot. When India attained independence in 1947, its population was around 400 million people. Now there are billion population in India. India is the largest democracy in the world. It has the biggest whole of population with franchise ownership and the largest whole of Political Parties, which take part in determination campaign.

Before its independence, India was never a particular country but a bunch of different entities. Many thinkable, that India, because of diversities in its cultures, religion, languages, castes, manners, local histories, nationalities and identities, would not survive as a particular democratic country, but would break up into smaller countries.

Since independence, India had many political problems. While independence the most burning issues were the riots between the Hindus and Muslims while the Sikhs were siding with Hindus. an additional one issue was convincing the Princely states not to articulate independence or join Pakistan but to join the Indian Union. India also had a few wars with its neighbors on border issues.

India also has many internal problems. different communities with different identities - regional, language, caste, religion - demanded different ownership for their communities. Some communities demanded more autonomy for their cultures within the Indian states. Others demanded autonomous states within the Indian Union, while the others demanded to be independent from India.

With all its problems India survives as a particular state with democratic character.

How much do you know about India? (India - Fact File)

Head of government: Prime minister Manmohan Singh (since May 2004)

Economic Overview: India's diverse economy encompasses original community farming, contemporary agriculture, handicrafts, a wide range of contemporary industries, and a multitude of services. Services are the major source of economic growth, though two-thirds of the workforce is in agriculture. The Upa government has committed to furthering economic reforms and developing basic infrastructure to improve the lives of the rural poor and boost economic performance. Government controls on foreign trade and investment have been reduced in some areas, but high tariffs (averaging 20% in 2004) and limits on foreign direct investment are still in place. The government has indicated it will do more to liberalize investment in civil aviation, telecom, and guarnatee sectors in the near term. Privatization of government-owned industries has proceeded slowly, and continues to create political debate; prolonged social, political, and economic rigidities hold back needed initiatives. The economy has posted an exquisite midpoint increase rate of 6.8% since 1994, reducing poverty by about 10 division points. India is capitalizing on its large numbers of well-educated population skilled in the English language to become a major exporter of software services and software workers. Despite strong growth, the World Bank and others worry about the combined state and federal funds deficit, running at roughly 9% of Gdp. The huge and growing population is the basic social, economic, and environmental problem. In late December 2004, a major tsunami took at least 60,000 lives in India, caused immense destruction of property, and severely affected the fishing fleet.

Gdp: purchasing power parity - .319 trillion (2004 est.)

Important Years for India, since independence

Vision India, 2025 (From an commonplace Person's Point of View)

1) Ensure dignity, Self-Respect and Pride for each individual, irrespective of age, gender, region or religion.

2) Drinking Water, Food, Cloth, shelter and schooling for all.

3) World Class infrastructure: roads, airports and railways.

4) Every year there is a loss of billions of rupees due to flood; only solution is "Unification" of all rivers.

5) Only one caste (Brotherhood) and one religion (Humanity), across the distance and breadth of the country.

6) No "reservation", no subsidiary, no "special privilege" and no discount, on the basis of Region, Religion, Community, Profession and Community.

7) Minimum schooling (Graduate), Minimum menagerial caress (7-10 yrs) and relinquishment age (67 yrs) for all politicians. Also, each year appraisal system for all ministers.

(These are the few points, I am able to pen down; however I have not mentioned anyone about safety and foreign policy...because as an commonplace person above mentioned things are of more importance than anyone else)

India in 21st Century

Everyone recognizes that the twenty-first century is the Century of Knowledge. Nations, which have mastered the yield of knowledge, its dissemination, its conversion into wealth and public good and its safety have assumed a leadership position in the world today. But it must be recognized that knowledge without innovation is of no value. It is straight through the process of innovation alone that new knowledge can be created. It is innovation, which converts knowledge into wealth and public good.

India was a leader in innovation several centuries ago. In fact, our innovations were diverse and pioneering. They included

1. Remarkable town planning,

2. The use of standardized burnt bricks for dwelling houses

3. Interlinked drainage systems

4. Wheel-turned earthenware and solid-wheeled carts.

5. The dockyard at Lothal in Gujarat is regarded as the largest marine buildings ever built by a bronze-age community.

6. The discovery of zero and the decimal place value system by Indians dates back to the Vedic period.

7. Our pioneering work in algebra, trigonometry and geometry was truly outstanding.

8. Indian innovations in medicine, especially in Ayurveda, not only aimed at the cure of diseases but, more importantly, on the preservation of health.

9. The innovations in surgery included pioneering efforts in laprotomy, lithotomy and plastic surgery.

10. The iron pillar at Delhi, which testifies to the achievements in metallurgy some 1500 years ago, is truly inspirational even today.

Indian civilization was characterized by scientific thought, capabilities and techniques at levels far more industrialized than others.

In spite of this great legacy and description of accomplishments, why did India fall behind in the ensuing centuries? When the scientific and commercial revolutions took place in the West a few hundred years ago, there was a period of stagnation in India. The lack of amelioration over this period was a ensue of a hierarchical approach, irrational subjective thinking, and build up of superstitions and superficial ritualism. We have lost the leadership position. This cannot continue into the twenty-first century. We must collect this position with determined action.

Our confidence in building the new innovative India of our dreams stems from our major successes in the arena of many technological innovations that have made such a dissimilarity to the nation. Some leading examples include
the blue (space), green (agriculture), white (milk) and gray (software) revolutions. Let us just take one example.

1. The Indian space program, for example, has designed and sent into space a series of satellites that, among other things, include the largest domestic transportation system in the Asia-Pacific region.

2. It has also industrialized a range of launch vehicles, the most up-to-date being a geo-synchronous launch vehicle with an 1800 kg payload. These developments have helped in the application of space technology for national needs in communication, meteorology, broadcasting, and remote sensing. All of this has been achieved in a relatively cost-effective manner. The Indian space programmer's current each year funds is equivalent to Us 0 million while Nasa's budget, in comparison, is over billion.

3. Other innovations serving specific Indian needs include C-Dot digital switches, CorDect cost-effective wireless-local-loop products, the Simputer, which is a low-cost computer and the Param supercomputer.

4. The last is an example of "denial-driven innovation," illustrating that India has the inherent to tackle highly industrialized technological issues, given the permissible motivation.

Conclusion

Yesterday was good since then we have traveled a lot; covered a lot of distance, but still there are miles to go. building a nation is not easy. We have to "learn from our past and focus on future". The way ahead is not easy...is not a bed of roses. Instead of pulling each other, lets grow together...lets be a "Team India".

On this independence, this is all I have to share...to write.
Have a great day and take care of yourself.

2009's Ten Biggest, Most Memorable Events

It seems every year of the new millennium has seen some huge events occur; minute perhaps of the magnitude of September 11, 2001 or the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami, but still, here are the ten biggest, most memorable events of the year Mmix (so far), in reverse order:

Number 10

Nuclear Weapons

July 22 - Longest total solar eclipse of the 21st Century takes place

Lasting six minutes and 38 seconds this was the second of three (the first and third were more minor penumbral lunar) eclipses in one month and it was observed by millions over China, Japan, Nepal and India. The next comparably-sized solar eclipse will occur beyond our time in 2132.

Number 9

January 20 - President Barack Obama is inaugurated 44th President of the Usa

Heralding a new hope, President Obama comes into office amid depths of uncertainty surrounding the Global Financial Crisis. His slogan, 'Yes, we can,' is apt; he's appears the man of the hour for such a time as this.

Number 8

March 3 - Gunmen assault a bus carrying Sri Lankan international cricketers; eight citizen are killed

Not a large terrorist event but one that was valuable by virtue of the target. International teams are now put on added observation as they travel to the world's trouble spots.

Number 7

February 7 - The Black Saturday bushfires kill 173 citizen and leave 7,500 homeless in Victoria, Australia

A shockingly devastating set of climatic conditions and a combination of electrically and deliberately lit fires spark unprecedented fire emergencies throughout the State. The event transforms the Australian culture toward bushfire from commonly lax to vigilant roughly overnight such was the depth of human tragedy experienced. The national response to the plight of the victims via charity is an unprecedented success.

Number 6

May 25 - North Korea announces it has conducted its second successful nuclear weapon test

This was a valuable event from the perspective of the future peace and sustainability of the world and major country gentle unity. North Korea continues to defy international convention and arrogantly sets itself as one of the key dictator and recalcitrant countries of the 21st Century.

Number 5

September 29 & 30 - Tsunamis off Samoa and Sumatra kill over 1,000 citizen and destroy valuable infrastructure

After the Boxing Day tsunamis of 2004 there is heightened awareness of the cost and scope of tsunami events in terms of human tragedy. This was fortunately roughly nothing in comparison to the 2004 event in terms of human loss, where over 300,000 are belief to have lost their lives.

Number 4

June 1 - Air France Flight 447 flying from Brazil plunges into the Atlantic Ocean killing 228

Mystery surrounded this event for days after and it still does. Only 51 bodies of the 228 killed have been recovered and the black box flight data recorder has also not been found, precluding the investigation significantly.

Number 3

April 24 - The World health society is involved at the preliminary outbreak of Influenza (later known as Swine Flu [H1N1])

This was later deemed a global pandemic on June 11. Although this pandemic was the first of its order since the Hong Kong strain in 1967/68 its virulence was less than thinkable, though many lost their lives and millions suffered a very debilitating influenza.

Number 2

November 25 - Rumours begin to circulate about Tiger Woods extramarital affairs

No one likes to see a superstar, especially one with such a slick and clean image as Tiger had, plunge and lose an fantastic amount of credibility, destroying his reputation--but this has happened. This event sparks a world of media and favorite interest, inappropriate humour and condemnation.

Number 1

June 25 - the death of "King of Pop," Michael Jackson

For much of the world this was a shocking and horrifically sad end to the King of Pop, who was concluding his rehearsals of "This Is It," his fifty London shows, the curtain call of his musical career. The event of the reporting of his death and the later memorial service (July 7) pushed internet traffic to unprecedented levels--an electronic tsunami.

So, there we have it--a big year in anyone's language. What lies ahead in 2010, apart from changing our naming convention of the year? (i.e. Instead of two-thousand-and-nine/ten we'll start to call the years proceeding from now, twenty-ten, and so forth.)

Will there be a more weighty or catastrophic natural disaster--and more to the point, will we be ready? (Can we be ready?) Which notable figures will die? Will there be a key assassination? Will the world be plunged for a time into 'electronic darkness?'

It all remains to be seen.
