The Death and Destruction that Japan is still dealing with is the product of their own arrogance. 22000 people have died because the Japanese government tried to sneak an underwater testing of a nuclear bomb. Everything that has happened since then is just a cover-up. The convenience of having a nuclear power plant that just happens to be using Uranium fuel rods right on the shore is the perfect tool to cover up the weapons testing. Think about it. Why are they refusing to let any other country assist in the repair and clean-up? Because there is no damage to their nuclear power plants. They just don't want anyone looking over their shoulder while they figure out what went wrong.
