East Coast Missile Defense For Nonexistent Iran Weapons

East Coast Missile Defense For Nonexistent Iran Weapons Video Clips. Duration : 6.33 Mins.

Via Wired.com: "A key congressional panel is demanding that the Pentagon start work on a missile defense battery on America's East Coast, all to make sure an Iranian missile doesn't wipe out New York, Philly or DC in the next three years. But Tehran's longest-range missile can't come anywhere near American shores. And the Defense Department already has a plan in motion to launch missile interceptors from Europe, just in case Iran somehow makes a giant technological leap in the near future. In its markup of next year's Pentagon budget, the House Armed Services Committee's Strategic Forces panel inserted a provision that "require[s] the Director, Missile Defense Agency to develop a plan for the deployment of an East Coast site to be operational not later than the end of 2015." And to encourage the Missile Defense Agency to get started, the subcommittee authorized an extra 0 million...".* Ana Kasparian and Ben Mankiewicz discuss on The Young Turks. JFK Speech on the Cuban Missile Crisis (Part 2)

JFK Speech on the Cuban Missile Crisis (Part 2) Video Clips. Duration : 10.45 Mins.

October 22, 1962 www.amazon.com Watch the full film: thefilmarchived.blogspot.com Arthur Schlesinger, historian and adviser to John F. Kennedy, on National Public Radio on October 16, 2002, concluded that Castro had not wanted the missiles but that Khrushchev had forced them upon Cuba in a bit of political arm-twisting and "socialist solidarity." However, Castro has said that although he was not completely happy about the idea of the missiles in Cuba, the Cuban National Directorate of the Revolution accepted them to protect Cuba against US attack, and to aid its ally, the Soviet Union. Schlesinger believed that, having accepted the missiles, Castro was angrier with Khrushchev than he was with Kennedy when the missiles were withdrawn, because Khrushchev had not consulted Castro before deciding to remove them from Cuba. In early 1992, it was confirmed that Soviet forces in Cuba had, by the time the crisis broke, received tactical nuclear warheads for their artillery rockets and IL-28 bombers, though General Anatoly Gribkov, part of the Soviet staff responsible for the operation, stated that the local Soviet commander, General Issa Pliyev, had predelegated authority to use them if the US had mounted a full-scale invasion of Cuba. Gribkov misspoke: the Kremlin's authorization remained unsigned and undelivered. (Other accounts show that Pliyev was given permission to use tactical nuclear warheads but only in the most extreme case of a US invasion during which contact with ...

Russia to Aim Nuclear Weapons at NATO and USA in Response to Defensive Missile Shield

Russia to Aim Nuclear Weapons at NATO and USA in Response to Defensive Missile Shield Tube. Duration : 4.72 Mins.

Russia threatened on Wednesday to deploy missiles to target the US missile shield in Europe if Washington fails to assuage Moscow's concerns about its plans, a harsh warning that reflected deep cracks in US-Russian ties despite President Barack Obama's efforts to "reset" relations with the Kremlin. President Dmitry Medvedev said he still hopes for a deal with the US on missile defense, but he strongly accused Washington and its NATO allies of ignoring Russia's worries. He said Russia will have to take military countermeasures if the US continues to build the shield without legal guarantees that it will not be aimed against Russia. tags: russian USSR soviet union ballistic missile defense NATO nuclear war moscow kremlin wwiii conflict georgia ukraine strikes world war iii 3 Dmitry Medvedev russia targeted

North Korean, Iranian, Venezuelan, and China Missile and Nuclear Weapon Technology Share

Nuclear Weapons as a bargaining tool is not an idea that is long for this world I'd say. Of course, being a nuclear power and having nuclear weapons seems to give a country a bit of national pride and perceived security from attack and until that changes, and the rewards are taken away, countries will continue to pursue nukes. Nuclear Proliferation is a scary way to play the political card of impasse with the threat of unspeakable Wmd and war.

It appears that a leaked Un report shows that North Korea is truly trading Icbm technology with Iran, and most likely also nuclear weapon technology. This is not the first report talking about North Korea's weapon technology exports previously it has been known that Myanmar had also gotten nuclear and missile data from them. Also, Syria, Iran, Yemen, Libya, Egypt, Sudan.

Nuclear Weapons

Perhaps, you recall that a number of years ago Iran agreed to purchase of 100 (0 million deal) to Scud-B missiles. But now we are talking about Icbm technologies. Unfortunately, when you mix Icbm Tech with Nuclear Warheads, things get very serious quick.

There was a full story on all this in Al Jazeera Tv, a 25-minute schedule video posted on May 16, 2011 titled "North Korea and Iran's Missile Power - A Leaked Un report Claims N. Korea and Iran are Exchanging Illicit Missile Technology, Using China as a Transit Hub," which aired in the Middle East on May 15, 2011 - and whereas, you might say this is any revelation or new information.

But in this last report it cited venture and allegations that China was used as a transit point, and remember China is a permanent member of the Un security Council. Why is China involved? Perhaps, most likely energy, Iran has lots, China needs lots. See that problem as well?

It seems that if you look back the history of nuclear proliferation and trace the steps, of which countries had it, with whom they shared the technology, you see a rather troubling pattern, practically as if Moore's Law is in place, and the number of nations gaining these weapons or technology is rapidly increasing. Just pull up an old Rand Think Tank position paper or old explore study and you'll see the reality here.

Right now as we speak, Iran is attempting to gain allies by sharing its nuclear weapons knowledge in its nuke programs. With Venezuela for instance, along with again Medium and possibly long-range missile technologies as well, a double whammy which causes a huge number of unrest in the world and keeps intelligence agencies up at night. So, I hope you will please consider all this.

Pakistan successfully test fires Multi-Tube Ballistic Missile Hatf-9 (NASR)

Pakistan successfully test fires Multi-Tube Ballistic Missile Hatf-9 (NASR) Video Clips. Duration : 2.83 Mins.

April 19th, 2011: Pakistan on Tuseday successfully conducted the first flight test of the newly developed short range surface to surface Multi Tube Ballistic Missile Hatf 9 (NASR). The missile has been developed to add deterrence value to Pakistan's Strategic Weapons Development programme at shorter ranges. NASR, with a range of 60 km, carries nuclear warheads of appropriate yield with high accuracy, shoot and scoot attributes. This quick response system addresses the need to deter evolving threats. The test was witnessed by Director General Strategic Plans Division, Lieutenant General (Retired) Khalid Ahmed Kidwai, Chairman NESCOM Mr Irfan Burney, senior officers from the strategic forces, scientists and engineers of strategic organizations. On this occasion, the Director General Strategic Plans Division, Lieutenant General (Retired) Khalid Ahmed Kidwai said that the test was a very important milestone in consolidating Pakistan's strategic deterrence capability at all levels of the threat spectrum. He said in that hierarchy of military operations, the NASR Weapon System now provides Pakistan with short range missile capability in addition to the already available medium and long range ballistic missiles and cruise missiles in its inventory. The successful test has also been warmly appreciated by the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan, who have congratulated the scientists and engineers on their outstanding success.
